There’s a saying that we make plans and God laughs. Scott planned to never get married, and be a bachelor for life. Then, he met Amanda. It was obvious to all of Scott and Amanda’s friends that something was special about these two. But for Amanda, it wasn’t love at first sight. In fact, she didn’t even realize they were dating for the first few months. The great thing about love is that it doesn’t have to be love at first sight for it to be love for a lifetime.

Amanda and Scott found a lifetime kind of love.

The Wedding

Amanda and Scott were married on May 5, 2022, at Thatch Winery in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The Details

Amanda told us that her wedding would be the “Best Day Ever!”. She and her wedding planner carefully made each design choice to ensure that she, Scott, and their guests truly did have the best day. Including crafting signature drinks for the day.

The Wedding Party

This wedding party didn’t let a little rain get them down, they were the perfect support for Amanda and Scott on their special day. Maid of Honor, Sarah (also the bride’s sister) even stepped in for a special assignment during the day (more on that later).

The Ceremony

Amanda & Scott were legally married during their first look. Amanda’s sister performed the ceremony.

Then, in front of their 50 closest family and friends, they said their vows again with their best friend Cameron Campbell officiating.
