Krista & Andrew 8/29/20

“A cord of three strands is not easily broken”. Krista and Andrew’s sacred wedding embraced the fact that their marriage only works because as Krista says, “God is at work within us.” From the unity ceremony to the prayers prayed over the couple, God was certainly at the center of their big day.

This traditional couple met in a modern way. eHarmony. They matched on Krista’s first day on the site and the rest is history. Their wedding took place on their 1-year dating anniversary. While it wasn’t easy planning a wedding in 2020, the couple knew that they wanted to be able to celebrate God bringing them together with their closest friends and family.

One of our favorite things about this couple is that we got to go along with them to document their love story. From engagement shoot, to bridal portraits, to the wedding day, to a bonus newlywed shoot, they shared their love story with us and it was beautiful.

We celebrated the couple’s engagement at Diamond V Farm, which would also host the wedding.

“We got engaged the day after Valentine’s day. Andrew took me to Abbott Lake (at the Peaks of Otter Lodge), and we went for a walk around the lake and he proposed on the dock overlooking the mountains. It may have been the coldest morning of the year, but it was 100% perfection! He wrote me a beautiful poem and after I finished reading it, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Best yes I have ever said!”

Krista’s bridal portraits were shot at Thunder Ridge Overlook.

We were right back to Diamond V for their wedding day.

And we’ve rounded out their love story with these gorgeous images at Raven’s Roost.

As Krista added, “Neither of us are perfect, but we strive to love and serve one another daily, especially when life is crazy and stressful. We have both endured a very lengthy single season, but we trusted in the Lord to provide someone in his way and in his time, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. We are truly so blessed and thankful to finally get to display the beauty of the gospel in our marriage.”

Congratulations to Krista & Andrew and happy (almost) 1-year anniversary.

Krista’s review: Andrea and her team have all been incredible to work with! I knew photography was one of my top “no skimp” areas and Andrea was able to capture everything we wanted! Many of our extended family were not able to attend our ceremony due to COVID, but were able to “experience” everything through the photos we shared. From bridal portraits, to actual wedding, to even an extra shoot after the wedding in the mountains–her talent and skill is beyond anyone else I have seen! Even my husband (who does not love to be photographed) feels comfortable during our sessions and agrees she is worth every penny and more! We love her and will definitely continue to work with her for years to come!
