Leana & Mark 5/1/2022

For Leana’s mom and dad, the day their first-born daughter entered the world was the happiest day of their lives. All they could want for their daughter was that she would one day know the meaning of true love.

Enter, Mark.

Leana and Mark met on bumble and quickly fell in love. Leana told us “We balance each other out. I’m a planner and very organized, he is laid back”.

Leana’s parents couldn’t be happier. Their daughter was experiencing the love they’d always dreamed of for her.

Then, in August 2021, they had the pleasure of watching Mark get down on one knee and propose to their daughter on a family vacation in Mexico.

The Wedding

Leana and Mark were married just nine months later on May 1, 2022.

The Details

The couple selected neutral colors with gold and black accents for their wedding. Leana told us that she wanted her wedding to be classic, timeless, and romantic. Her wedding planner, Anne Forbes, did a wonderful job bringing her vision to life.

The Bridal Party

Leana’s bridesmaids looked stunning in their champagne gowns from David’s Bridal. And Mark and his groomsmen looked dapper in their Men’s Wearhouse suits.

The Bride & Groom

Leana and Mark couldn’t have looked more in love as we captured their first moments together as husband and wife.

The Ceremony

Leana and Mark were married in a late afternoon ceremony at Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Richmond, VA. The ceremony was performed by their family priest.
