According to Kathryn, when her roommate Liz told her that Marcus wasn’t her type, she knew she had to give him a chance. Also, “who says no to Mexican food”? For Marcus and Kathryn, that first La Caretta date was just the beginning of what would be the rest of their lives. A year after beginning dating, Marcus proposed after picking Kathryn up at 2 am after a weekend work trip. Kathryn says, “My favorite part is that he asked me for forever when I probably looked my worst. He sacrificed his sleep so that my life could be easier. And this is just a glimpse of the ways he continues to show me love and devotion on a daily basis”. Two years after their first date, on a cold January day in 2020, Kathryn and Marcus said I do.

 

 

For their winter wedding, it was important to Kathryn to capture the community (family and friends) that would be a part of their special day. The newlyweds also wanted to showcase the celebration of their union and the fun they have together as a couple. I don’t know about you, but I think this couple’s personality was the star of the day!
